BEGINNER GUITAR COURSE

Class Fee: $45/6 week series

Time: 6:00 – 6:45 pm

Students will learn the left and right hand guitar techniques. Identifying string names, notes, and scales on the fretboard along with reading music notation and tablature. Students will choose to learn the flat picking or classical technique of playing. A variety of major and minor chords in addition to various strumming patterns will be introduced. Students will learn to play simple and familiar melodies on the guitar.
*Special Requirements: Students must provide a ukulele or guitar. Instructor can provide information on where to buy one. Students must also purchase the guitar method book from the instructor.
