Since then, Laura has explored seven states, worked as a Copy Editor for the Roanoke Times Newspaper in Southwest Virginia, and recently earned her master’s degree in creative writing at Liberty University with distinction. She hosts a monthly writer’s support group called SWAG (Serious Writers & Authors Group). Her greatest desire is to build a remarkable writer’s community in Ocean Springs, one which compliments the amazing artist fellowship already thriving here in the City of Discovery.
