Join us for a Summer of Shakespeare! This two week workshop will include text analysis & engagement, development of historical and cultural understanding, and performance of selected scenes from the Bard. Through theatrical exercises, acting and scene study, we will explore some of William Shakespeare’s most famous characters, and uncover the best ways to bring them to life. This course is designed to be accessible to newcomers and experienced actors/directors/teachers alike! (We recommend participants be at least 13 years of age due to some of the nature of some of Shakespeare’s themes, however, we will review exceptions based on parental discretion.)
