Chef Clay will be teaching students the ins & outs of making traditional ramen.

Kid's Kitchen Classics

Chef Clay will be teaching kids the basics of cooking their favorite dishes such as mac-n-cheese, chicken nuggets, and more!

all about knives

A class outlining different uses for various types of knives, how to sharpen knives, and specific cuts on proteins & vegetables.

irish dancing

An ongoing, monthly class featuring instruction in traditional Irish dance, performances and competition available. 
Please wear shorts, tshirt, socks, and dancing shoes. The instructor will let you know where to order the dancing shoes from!

Children's folk music group

A folk music class where students will be taught very basic rhythm skills with a shared rotation of shakers, small drums, and other instruments. The students will be encouraged to enjoy each other’s company musical expression through fun folk music.

gentle flow & restore yoga

These classes combine gentle flow, yin, and restorative poses to increase mobility and calm the mind.
Special Requirements: Students must bring yoga mat. Blocks, blanket, and straps are highly recommended. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early, as class begins on time.

MC Youth Art Program

All classes in this program are offered to beginner or skilled artists! If you don’t know how, instructor Danea Brown will teach you! Students will have lots of FUN creating seasonal masterpieces that they will be proud to hang on the fridge!

Private art Lesson

Private 2 hour lessons that consist of one-on-one instructions on how to use a variety of different mediums, such as acrylic, oil, pastel, charcoal, or pencil. These lessons can also allow for consultation on any art project the student may need help with.

Developing the creative
writer series

Do you have a great story idea but don’t know where to start? Are you Sumo wrestling with your latest manuscript? SWAG (Serious Writers and Authors Group) workshops are here to help. This fall, eight independent workshops will target the needs of the developing creative writer in these key areas: Creative Non-fiction (essays & memoirs), Fiction, Screenwriting, Plot, Revision, Characterization, Poetry, and Publication. Each 90-minute class is taught by industry professional Laura Keriazakos. These workshops will be entertaining, inventive, and highly informational.

Individual beginner guitar and ukulele lessons

Individual lessons
Students will learn how to hold the guitar or ukulele along with the correct left and right hand fingering techniques. They will also learn how to read music. A variety of fingerpicking and chord strumming patterns will be taught on the guitar or ukulele to play simple and familiar melodies.

Class Dates: lessons will be offered on Mondays or Tuesdays and will be scheduled with the instructor.

*Material Fee: $10 for kids & $17 for ages 12+ – paid to instructor on first day of class.

Special Requirements: Student needs to provide a ukulele or guitar. The instructor can provide information on where to buy one.

Argentine Tango

In this ongoing class, students will learn the basic movements of the argentine tango social dance. The movements or steps would be: the basic 8, back ocho, forward ocho, and prada.

From 6-7PM, the class will be all about the introduction to Argentine Tango. From 7-8PM will be for intermediate practice. Everyone is welcome to come the whole time, or for the time that suits their interest.

*Special Requirements: Students should wear leather soled shoes.

The Forever Young class is geared toward individuals needing assistance with balance, flexibility, strength, posture, and cognition.
This class is perfect for seniors or anyone going through physical therapy due to an injury affecting mobility.

Ages: Seniors

Material Fee: $22 needs to be paid to the instructor at the start of the first class.

Students will learn foundational concepts & techniques for painting a still life in either oil or acrylic.

Students will combine everyday images to make a collage that will later be used as the foundation to create a unique acrylic painting. In the process, color schemes may be altered. Color mixing and harmony, as well as pictorial composition, will be highlighted.
Class Dates: Tuesdays, June 7th-July 19th
*Class will NOT meet on July 5th.

Materials needed are a brush variety pack, a warm & cold version of each primary color in acrylic, burnt umber brown & titanium white acrylic paint, 96 lb paper booklet that is 14×17″ in size.

build your own 12 foot sailboat

The Oz Goose is a 12 foot sailboat with enormous stability from its box platform. The box platform also makes it very easy to build and a powerful sailor. Tuition includes all supplies such as sail, lines, rope, and material to build the boat.
